Thika Road (commonly known as the Thika Superhighway) is an 8-lane controlled-access highway in Kenya, with 12 lanes in some sections.

It links the capital city of Nairobi with the industrial town of Thika. Thika Road forms 50 km of the A2 Highway, which is part of the Cape to Cairo Road.

In Kenya, it links Namanga at the Tanzania-Kenya border to the Kenya-Ethiopia border town of Moyale.

Lagos Shines on the Water: A Spectacular Boat Regatta Experience

We kicked things off yesterday with a vibrant boat regatta that showcased the beauty and energy of Lagos on the water. Today, we had the qualifying trials and races, and they were exciting to watch.

The action on the water was pure skill, speed, and teamwork on display. Lagos truly shone as we hosted the world with warmth, pride, and excitement. I’m proud of everyone who helped make this event a success and of the amazing Lagosians who came out to support, Lagos State Governor.

Lagos has made history as the first African city to host the E1 electric powerboat race, the E1 Lagos GP. This speaks to the future we are building, one of clean energy, innovation, and opportunities for our young people.

By joining cities like Monaco, London, and Venice on the E1 calendar, Lagos has once again shown that we are bold, resilient, and ready to take our place on the global stage.
